The Warnath Group, with contributions from Al Moskowitz, former Civil Rights Division Chief at the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and former Regional Prosecutions Advisor at the Australia-Asia Program to Combat Trafficking in Persons (AAPTIP), published a knowledge sharing paper designed to assist prosecutor trial preparation for human trafficking cases.

This practice guide, titled “Prosecutor Trial Preparation –  Preparing the Victim of Human Trafficking to Testify” provides actionable techniques and guidelines for prosecutors to consider when preparing the victim of human trafficking to testify in court.  The prosecutor can prepare and help the victim to successfully and comfortably testify against his or her trafficker(s).

“Prosecutor Trial Preparation – Preparing the Victim of Human Trafficking to Testify” is  part of the continuing Prosecutor Trial Preparation series designed to equip prosecutors around the world with actionable knowledge and skills to successfully try human trafficking cases.
