As part of the IACT Program, Warnath Group is conducting ongoing activities with community-based multi-disciplinary teams (MDTs) in Costa Rica, called Local Subsystems of Protection (SSLPs), to strengthen their capacity to conduct preliminary identification, referral, and protection of child trafficking victims.

On October 4, Warnath Group conducted a follow-up training session with the SSLP in the canton of La Cruz, Guanacaste. This training session explored different challenges and barriers in the identification of child and adolescent trafficking victims and focused on how community-based practitioners can overcome these barriers in their daily work.

On October 14, Warnath Group conducted a training session with the SSLP in the canton of Santa Cruz, Guanacaste. This follow-up training session focused on identifying the different barriers that community-based practitioners are facing in their efforts to identify child and adolescent trafficking victims. The training also engaged SSLP members in developing practical strategies and approaches to overcome these barriers in their daily work in their communities.
