About the Program
The map above lists the countries where Warnath Group has provided training or technical assistance under this program.
The Warnath Group (WG) provides state-of-the-art peer-to-peer professional skills-based training and technical assistance (TTA) globally. WG helps strengthen the capacity and skills of government officials, criminal justice actors, victim service providers (e.g., NGO and/or government shelters, legal service providers for victims), and other key anti-trafficking professionals to respond effectively, meaningfully and appropriately to all forms of trafficking in persons (also known as “human trafficking” or “TIP”) by providing in-country training and technical assistance.
These efforts focus on five objectives on the following themes: strengthening anti-TIP laws, policy frameworks, and national plans of action; systemizing or institutionalizing victim-centered practices as part of investigations and prosecutions; assisting both government and NGO victim service providers in improving comprehensive services for trafficking victims; providing insight and guidance on effective and ethical data collection, storage, and reporting mechanisms; and implementing or strengthening national referral mechanisms to improve identification of and services provision to trafficking victims.
The Warnath Group’s model entails the provision of TTA that is tailored, flexible, multi-disciplinary, empirically-based, integrated, and sustainable.
